Ep. 131 Karina Halle: The Forbidden Man

We’re taking a break from our Book Recs and Laughs series this week to share the very last interview we got to do in person before lockdown! Jenny got to chat with Karina Halle about her bonkers, immersive writing process, her adventures in Hollywood going to the Westworld premiere and the Golden Globes, and why travel is the best! She’s just released an escapist rom com that she wasn’t even working on when we talked, but then coronavirus happened and she needed to write something light, funny–which, don’t we all need that right now?

Lovewrecked is her latest release and it’s an escapist enemies-to-lovers rom com where a grumpy groomsman and the maid of honor end up shipwrecked on a remote island near Fiji. It’s hilarious and sexy and there’s a feral goat.
